Hello! Rae Ann here for your dose of Friday Fun! October brings cooler weather finally to my neck of the woods. I am loving the cool temperatures and lower humidity! The cool temperatures and our current challenge to add brown or kraft paper to your project has me really feeling autumn!
I used one of the new releases, Jack O'Lantern Mane, for this project. I found this awesome digital paper in my stash and thought it fit the challenge and the image perfectly. A few pretty embellishments and it was done!
You can pop over to the challenge and play along for a chance to win Sami Stamps prizes. Just make sure to use a Sami Stamps image to be eligible.
Hello everyone and welcome back to another Fun Friday!
Today I'm sharing an awesome card featuring one of our newest Spooky Unicorns!
I love this Mushrooms and Bats image and how you could take it in either the spooky route or the soft and gentle route. I tried to do a little cross of both by putting the card into a dark scene with the large super moon coming up behind her, but also giving her a playfully colored mane and some shimmer.
For this card, I used my Prismacolor pencils. With so much coloring and dimension, I find pencils are best for me since I have a lot more control over where the color goes. And I can use a blending solution to smooth everything out once I'm done if I wish.
Once everything was colored, I layered the whole panel onto a black piece cut to the same size, but shifted them so they criss-cross. Then layered these panels onto a Kraft mat that I added some brown colored embossing paste through a dot stencil onto.
The sentiment was white heat embossed right onto my unicorn panel and that finished the card!
What medium do you like to use? (Markers, Pencils, etc)
My favorite medium is Copic markers, but i also love to watercolor. Where do you craft/make your cards/projects?
I am very lucky...I use one of our guest rooms. My husband installed a counter-top, cabinets and shelving! I love it! :) Who do you create/design cards for?
I make cards for my family, friends and I also donate to my local Ronald McDonald House.
Do you use metal dies or svgs?
All metal dies.
What do you enjoy most about cardmaking?
Everything!!! Coloring, the designs & layouts, choosing the paper & embellishments and most of all i find it very therapeutic.
You can visit Tammy's blog here:
Where do you buy most of your cardmaking supplies?
Locally- I buy my supplies at Hobby Lobby, Michaels and JoAnns. and on-line I use Simon Says Stamps and Amazon
What is your favorite Sami Stamps image?
think all of the stamps are so cute but if I have to pick a favorite it
would be any image that features a girl/woman such as 'Blossoms Girl' or
'Holding flowers in my hat'.

The challenge for this challenge was to use pearls or sequins. I thought the placement of pearls and sequins in this project was a lovely touch to a lovely card. Sami Stamps image "I Love My Sweet" was used for this card.
Congratulations! Please contact me at email@example.com for more information about your prize!
Hello everyone! Rae Ann here with a Fun Friday inspiration that will take you under the sea! The new release this month was Salty Seahorses and I have one of the sweet stamps from the new release for you today.
I colored this sweet image using Copic markers then cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo. The background paper is from a digital collection called Ocean Melody which is available on Snap Click Supply.
You still have time to join our challenge to use pearls or sequins on your project. Don't forget that you have to use a Sami Stamps image to play along and win.
